Christina Keith has been painting professionally since 1992, after graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Communication and Environmental Design. She has shown her work over the years both locally and internationally and has won various awards for her dramatic acrylic paintings. She feels very fortunate that her life's path has allowed her to live around the world, which also enables her to boast collectors from countries on six continents. She credits the "mega-sensory" experience of other cultures and a true lust for travel as the two most profound influences on her work. She has recently moved from Dallas, Texas to Brussels and is looking forward to the way that the new environs will enrich her artwork. In addition to working on her own pieces, Christina collaborates with Dallas area potter Margaret Pankhurst to create mixed media pieces using the signature cpmk. She is currently being represented by Rising Gallery in Dallas. |
